Scarborough 2016

Three Gambiteers entered Scarborough chess congress on 21-23 October.

Mike Barnes started slowly with two draws in the Open but then won his three final games to finish joint 2nd, averaging 211.

Mike Naylor, also in the Open, won twice and lost three times to average 176.

Drag Sudar won a share of a grading prize in the Major with three wins and a draw, averaging 182.
